Massachusetts’ Solar Renewable Energy Credits (SREC) are an unquestioned success, creating green jobs and clean energy while protecting taxpayers. As the program enters its second phase, it’s time for Governor Baker to reaffirm the state’s commitment to a sustainable economic future.
PG&E already has enough renewable energy contracts in its portfolio that its customers now get a quarter of their electricity from sources like solar and wind. (Large hydro is not included.)
The so-called Sunshine State hasn’t been a great place for homeowners to install solar panels. Florida ranks near the top for the amount of solar potential, yet comes in 15th for home solar systems. Texas, which rivals California for most sun resources, comes in 11th in installed residential panels, according to GTM Research in Boston.
Recently, there have been several high profile solar mergers and acquisitions, and I’m positive there will be more. In fact, I’ve just completed my own M&A, and so I thought I’d share my perspective for the process of evolving two brands into one. First, let me say that mergers and acquisitions are healthy for the growth of the solar industry, and
